Nawal al-Hawsawi is a Saudi-Arabian pilot and campaigner against racism and domestic violence.^{[1][2][3][4][5]} She has been referred to as the “Rosa Parks of Saudi Arabia”. Al-Hawsawi, who originated from Mecca, married a White American. She has a commercial pilot’s license and is also a mental health counselor and marriage therapist. She has 50,000 followers on Twitter and uses the platform to speak out about discrimination.^[6] She is not permitted to fly aircraft in Saudi Arabia.
